President

Amber Mastrobattista
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Amber joined the board in December 2022 to be a passionate advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community because she believes in the center’s mission wholeheartedly and understands that safe spaces and support networks are vital to fostering a sense of inclusivity and empowerment. She brings over 10 years of graphic design and marketing experience to the center, utilizing her skills to communicate messages of acceptance and belonging visually. She is inspired by the transformative power of community and strives to amplify the voices of those often marginalized.

Amber is married to a wonderful local electrician named Matt, and they share their lives with two adorable Maltese dogs named Doodle and Pixel. In her free time, Amber is a huge nerd who loves playing board games, video games, fostering friendships and connections with individuals both online and in person. She is also a big crafter, enjoying sewing, knitting, crocheting and drawing/illustrating as creative and meditative outlets.

Ariel Tinney
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Ariel Tinney is a highly versatile and driven individual with a multifaceted skill set and a deep commitment to social justice. She combines her education in policy and organizing with skills learned in the private and public sectors to achieve impactful results. Ariel’s graduate research was inspired by her work in the Stop G4S campaign, an effort to prevent companies convicted of human rights violations from acquiring city contracts. She is excited to have found a community at PCC.

Amanda Frank
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Amanda Frank is a public-sector professional with extensive experience supporting nonprofit organizations through financial oversight, governance and operational compliance. She has served in treasurer and finance-adjacent roles where she was responsible for budgeting, fiscal reporting, records management and ensuring transparency and accountability in organizational decision-making. Her professional background emphasizes structure, stewardship of resources and long-term sustainability—skills she brings thoughtfully to nonprofit leadership.

Beyond her professional experience, Amanda is deeply committed to LGBTQIA+ advocacy and community support. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community herself, she values inclusive spaces that foster safety, connection and empowerment. She is passionate about contributing her skills to organizations that provide meaningful resources, advocacy and visibility for individuals and families across the spectrum of identities.

Amanda lives with her wife and their seven pets, a household that reflects her belief in chosen family, compassion and care. She is honored to support the mission of the Pride Community Center and is motivated by the opportunity to help strengthen an organization that plays a vital role in the well-being and resilience of the community it serves.

Director of Marketing and Communications

Morgan Torres
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Morgan Torres is a community-driven real estate professional and local advocate based in the Brazos Valley. With a background in technology and a genuine love for building connections; Morgan’s work has always centered on helping people feel seen, supported and empowered- both in their homes and in their community.

As a REALTOR®, Morgan works with individuals and families at all stages of life, leading with patience, education, and thoughtful guidance. Community involvement is a natural extension of Morgan’s work, rooted in the belief that strong, inclusive communities are built through care, visibility and education.

Morgan is honored to serve on the Board of the Pride Community Center and is deeply passionate about supporting PCC’s mission of building community, providing support and raising awareness for LGBTQIA+ people across the Brazos Valley. Morgan is especially committed to helping create safe, affirming spaces and strengthening outreach efforts that encourage understanding, equity and connection.

Zienna Blackwell
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Zienna Blackwell is a public health leader with a deep commitment to community wellbeing, equity and systems-level change. She currently serves as Director of Prevention & Population Health at Texas A&M University Health Services, where she leads innovative, data-informed initiatives that strengthen community health, advance prevention strategies and build sustainable partnerships across sectors.

With extensive experience serving on nonprofit boards, Zienna brings a strong governance mindset, strategic vision and collaborative leadership style to the Pride Community Center. Her board service has consistently focused on mission alignment, organizational sustainability and translating community needs into actionable impact. She is especially passionate about upstream prevention, inclusive access to care and creating environments where individuals and communities can thrive.

Zienna’s work is grounded in the belief that health is shaped by belonging, dignity, and connection. She is drawn to the Pride Community Center’s role as both a safe haven and a catalyst for empowerment, advocacy and healing. As a board member, she is committed to supporting the Center’s long-term growth, amplifying its impact and ensuring that LGBTQIA+ individuals have access to affirming resources, supportive services and a vibrant, connected community.

Markie Beth Hu
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

New to Texas, Markie Hu has settled in College Station with her wife and two children, quickly embracing the local community. She joined the Pride Community Center Board in 2025, driven by her dedication to philanthropy and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ rights. With a creative career as a stylist and costume designer in film and theatre, Markie looks forward to bringing both her professional experience and her passion for service to the center’s mission.

River Martinez
Pronouns: He/Him/His

River was raised in San Benito, TX (part of the Rio Grande Valley) and completed his bachelor’s degree in Wildlife & Fisheries at Texas A&M University.

River is passionate about advocating for marginalized groups and uplifting minority voices where possible. His goal is to help the Pride Community Center get a physical location as well as further his Trans Joy Project, which helps Transgender individuals obtain basic gender-affirming items.

When he has the time to spare, River enjoys going to parks, painting, helping others, spending time with his husband Marco Martinez and assisting local drag queens with their shows.

Micheal McCord | Infinity Adonis
Pronouns: He/Him/His | She/Her/Hers

Micheal “Fin” McCord aka Infinity LaVey Adonis has been apart of the BCS queer community for almost 9 years. He’s been a huge activist in the local community speaking up for change. He believes everyone deserves to be their most genuine selves. He has also been apart of many other nonprofit programs throughout his life from helping unhoused individuals in Los Angeles to being a volunteer at his local food bank. You can catch him at many venues across BCS as his drag persona “Infinity LaVey Adonis”. Don’t be shy come up and say hi!

Asher Richardson
Pronouns: He/Him/His

Asher was raised in Houston and Dallas and completed his Digital Media Design degree in Waco, Texas.

Since moving to the BCS area in 2016, He has gotten involved with many local LGBTQIA+ groups and hopes to assist in change for the community. He is very passionate about trans rights, building community and raising support for the LGBTQIA+ people in our community.

He is a full time graphic designer, but in his free time, Asher enjoys playing games, crafting and spending time with his chosen family.

His goal with PCC is to learn how to be a better more effective advocate for his community, help build a safe space and help ensure that that all of the LGBTQIA+ individuals have access to resources and an affirming community

Josh Tutt
Pronouns: He/Him/His

Josh grew up in Dallas, Texas, and has lived in the Brazos Valley since coming to Texas A&M University as a student in 2011. Josh and his husband, Rick, now live in Burleson County with their spoiled and much-loved blue heeler, Trinity. Josh has volunteered locally and advocated for causes such as safe sex education, alternative relationship dynamics, sexual health and LGBTQIA+ policy since 2016. He has been a Pride Community Center board member since March 2020 and has served as President since September 2022. He works in IT Helpdesk Management, and his passions include political LGBTQ+ rights advocacy, musical theatre and storytelling games.

2026 Bush Board Fellow

The Pride Community Center is proud to announce its partnership with the Center of Nonprofits and Philanthropy at The Bush School of Government and Public Service through the Bush Board Fellows Program. This program allows a student to join our board as a non-voting member giving them the opportunity to learn the inner workings of a non-profit organization.

Julianne Ho
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Julianne Ho is a first-year student in Texas A&M’s Master’s in Public Service and Administration program where she is studying policy analysis to become a policy researcher for marginalized communities. In addition, she also works as a policy analyst for Bridges to analyze and implement community-building programs that support youth welfare. In her free time, she loves playing video games, trying new recipes and exploring parks around College Station. As a Bush Board Fellow, Julianne hopes to learn more about creating safe spaces and community for LGBTQIA+ youth and their families.

Executive Director

Katy Dawn Stewart
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Our volunteer Executive Director, Katy, is an experienced leader in LGBTQIA+ education and advocacy spheres, having served on boards of directors at the local, state and national levels as well as serving as Executive Director of a state-level organization. She has formerly served on the boards of Equality Texas and Transgender Education Network of Texas, as well as the Steering Committee for Trans Advocacy Network.

These days, she coaches and educates people about transgender life wherever she can. Notably, she has presented classes on working with transgender clients for the National Sexual Assault Conference of 2017, has presented at teacher in-service in working with transgender students and regularly offers her unique expertise and insight in regard to these topics, as well as capacity building for movements and nonprofits. During the summer of 2024, she will be completing a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.

Volunteer Coordinator

Leah Hedgepeth
Pronouns: They/Them/Theirs

Leah is Half native to BCS, PROUD Non-binary pagan single parent of two almost grown kids in BCS. They’re a Retired massage therapist now Door Dasher. They previously volunteered as Peace Lutheran’s Family Promise co-ordinator from 2015 to 2021, as well as Volunteered and worked for Meals on Wheels of Brazos Valley from 2015 to 2025. Currently they volunteer Sweet Oak Collaborative and is the new Volunteer Coordinator for Pride Community Center, though they’ve been volunteering for Pride for years and was the 2024 Volunteer of the year.

Yoga, crochet, drag shows and karaoke make their heart happy since they can’t skate much anymore. A good cider and good friends will get Leah out of the house.
