Our Peer-led Support and Stigma Reduction Initiative includes a number of peer support groups wherein individuals can visit in a safe space, share stories, brainstorm strategies, and find ways of dealing with challenges related to being LGBTQ+ in the Brazos Valley and Texas.

Peer support groups are not led by a licensed therapist. They are often facilitated by leadership within Pride Community Center and are run as round robin’s where everyone can contribute and feel free to share what they need to share.

Peer Support Groups:

  • LGBTQ+ Parents Support Group: Meets the first Monday of every month. Contact info@pridecc.org for location information.
