Event Details
November 20th, 6:30 pm
Unitarian Universalist Church of the Brazos Valley
Open to the public
This year we are trying a different format in respect to the ever present danger and anxiety that the transgender and nonbinary community face. In lieu of reading names, we are asking volunteers to contribute narratives about lives lost this past year due to anti-transgender violence. We understand that such public speaking is not for everyone. We really need community support for this endeavor this year. Feel free to attend and hold vigil with us on November 20th. If you would like to help out with a narrative, please see the instructions below.
How to volunteer a narrative
- Go to Remembering Our Dead – Reports for a list of those who have died in this past year.
- Choose someone and click on their hyperlink
- Look over the links, do some research on Google
- Construct a narrative
- Email a copy of your narrative to bvtdor@pridecc.org
