Pride Community Center is honored to have Rev Fr Bryce Kolodziej on our panel for World AIDS Day: "Impact of Being HIV+, Related Stigma, and Discrimination"

Rev Fr Bryce Kolodziej is a Texas native, spending the majority of his adult life in Dallas.

In his professional life, he works in a sales and marketing capacity as Territory Sales Manager for a healthcare uniform supplier.

He has spent the majority of his adult life studying both business administration and theology; through wrestling with the amalgamation of both his faith and his sexual orientation - eventually discovered an independent, LGBTQ+ affirming [non-Roman] Catholic Church where he formally studied for the priesthood, and was ordained as a priest in 2018.

He served as priest-in-residence for an LGBTQ+ affirming Catholic parish in Fort Worth before transitioning back to ministry in Dallas, where he presently serves as an associate pastor for an LGBTQ+ affirming non-denominational network of churches.

He resides in Dallas with his soon to be husband and their rescue dog, Artemis. In his spare time, Bryce enjoys helping counseling LGBTQ+ people who desire to find connection and relationship with God, but have been damaged by religion (as he once was), and being a spiritual resource to the community.

His hobbies include body building (non-competitively), wood working and carpentry; collecting and restoring vintage and antique fans (of which he has over three dozen), studying theology, and writing devotional material specific for the LGBTQ+ community.
