GLBQ Heterosexism Study

Do you identify as a lesbian, gay, bisexual, or queer (LGBQ) adult in the United States?

We would like to invite you to participate in our online survey to better understand the experiences of mental health and economic marginalization of LGBQ people! People with minoritized race/ethnicities, social class, and genders are especially encouraged to join.

We are a team of counseling psychology researchers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Class, Equity, and Advocacy Research/CLEAR lab) interested in advancing work that promotes more compassionate and equitable systems in mental healthcare and education. We hope this project can advance health practitioners’ understanding of how economic marginalization and heterosexism affect LGBQ individuals and build more affirming clinical practices for our communities.

The survey takes 15 to 20 minutes to complete. You will first be directed to a brief set of screening items (so we can verify your eligibility and limit bots!). After completing the survey, you will be invited to enter a drawing for one of 30 Visa e-giftcards worth $40 each.
